Local League: Aniruda, Raheja smash centuries

Aniruda smashed 16 fours and six sixes during his three-figure knock, helping his side post a score in excess of 300. Trotters was bowled out for 316 in 49.3 overs. But, it reduced Alwarpet to 229 in 40.5 overs. In another match, Tushar Raheja scored 110 runs to help Kalpathi – Young Stars beat India Cements – Vijay by seven wickets.

Rahul takes six wickets for Districts II against City I  

D Rahul scalped six wickets as Districts II had the upper hand against City I at the end of day one in the TNCA round robin Under-19 match at the Wahe Guru Uniworld Ground here. 

City I was all out for 105 in 32.2 overs courtesy Rahul’s six-wicket haul. Districts II was 129 for eight in 45 overs at the end of day’s play. In another match, S Bhargav picked up five wickets for City II against Districts I.
