All India shooting championship from today

The said tournament will be conducted by The Chennai Rifle Club from August 30 to September 7 at the Rifle 85 Pistol Shooting Range situated at the Tamilnadu Special Police III Battalion, Veerapuram, Chennai. 

More than 2500 shooters are participating from all over India and also about 100 officials will be officiating during this tournament. The Club celebrated its Golden Jubilee in the year 2003 after successfully completing 50 glorious years in the cause of Shooting Sport.

This Range has been named as Dr B Sivanthi Adityan Shooting Sports Complex in gratitude for the yeoman service rendered by him for the development of the sport in the state.
