Local League: Siddharth’s all-round effort not enough
G Siddharth’s all-round effort of 104 runs and three wickets went in vain as Coimbatore lost to Kancheepuram by virtue of first innings lead in the TNCA Inter-Districts Under-14 cricket tournament in Kancheepuram on Sunday.

Kancheepuram made 224 while batting first. It later restricted Coimbatore to 145 in 71.3 overs, with G Siddharth playing a single-handed knock. S Sachin was the pick of the bowlers for the victor with figures of three for 55.
