Do-or-die match for Tuti against Kaalai

This is the last match of the league phase which gives both Tuti Patriots and Kaalai the advantage of calculating the required margin to make it to the Play-offs ahead of their closest rivals. Patriots will aim to take the fourth spot on the points table ahead of Kovai Kings, which is also playing its last match, against Madurai Panthers on Saturday. Patriots, which has three wins from six outings, lost to Ruby Trichy Warriors in its last game after being restricted to 158.

Its concern leading into the must-win game will be the lack of aggression from its middle order. Only R Sathish (strike rate of 187.23) has provided some momentum. Kaalai, meanwhile, has four wins from six games. A win with good net run-rate in its final outing will not only seal a Play-offs berth but also propel it to the top two on the table.
