India registers big win in Kabaddi Masters
World champion India produced a solid allround display as it comprehensively beat Kenya 48-19 at the Kabaddi Masters in Dubai.

Rishank Devadiga was the leading raider for India as he scored 15 points. Monu Goyat also contributed with 10 points to help India register its second straight win. Kenya put up a decent fight but never had any chance against the might of India.Â
India is now top of group A with 10 points from two games. India got off to a strong start as it led 3-0 after three minutes with Ajay Thakur and Monu Goyat scored raid points. Kenya opened its account with a raid point in the fourth minute to trail 1-5.Â
Kenya forced a super tackle in the fifth minute and sent Monu Goyat to the bench. India inflicted the first all out of the match to lead 12-3 after seven minutes. Kenya showed some fight after the all-out as it trailed 8-15 after 13 minutes.
Another all-out was inflicted by India in the 18th minute as it strengthened its hold. It was a controlled performance by India in the first half as it went into the break leading 27-9.Â
It was a slow start to the second half as both teams combined only for five points in the first few minutes. Monu Goyat came up with a moment of individual brilliance and scored with a four-point raid in the 28th minute to give India 34-12 lead.Â
