M Mathivanan’s five-wicket haul went in vain as Fine Star Cricket Association defeated Standard Cricket Club by 87 runs in the TNCA Thiruvallur DCA League Championship match here. Mathivanan helped standard bowl out Fine Star for 182 in 42.1 overs but fell short by 87 runs in its chase, falling cheaply for 95 runs.
