Pro Basketball League to be held in Chennai
Chennai will be one of the venues for the inaugural Pro Basketball League, which will be played in the 3x3 format. The other host cities are Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Aizawl.

The first season will feature 12 teams with Indian star players like Satnam Singh, Amjyot Singh and Palpreet Singh Brar set to be a part of it. Foreign players like Bikramjit Gill, Inderbir Singh Gill and Leandro Lima will also add to the flavour of the tournament.
“Our aim is to create a new fan base for basketball in India by promoting the 3x3 Basketball at a grassroots level and through wider outreach plans for viewers and players both,” said Rohit Bakshi, League Commissioner, 3BL - 3x3 Pro Basketball League.
