Indian team in a comfort zone: Kohli
India captain Virat Kohli is in the same situation as former captain Mahendra Dhoni was. Captaining an Indian side has always been a difficult job but for a mentally tough character like Kohli, it’s just another challenge.

Ever since he has taken up the captaincy, there has been a significant growth in the Indian side, their performance in South Africa was a testament to this fact. Kohli recently opened up on the rumors over MS Dhoni’s future. Many have speculated that Dhoni’s career is inching closer to an end with the resurgence of Dinesh Karthik. Kohli said that if we think and speak like people who have nothing to do with the decision making, then Indian cricket will be in big trouble.
“If we speak and think like people on the outside, Indian cricket will be in big trouble, I can promise you that. It’s far from the fantastical world on the outside where issues are created out of nowhere,” said the RCB captain.
He also spoke at length about the changing behaviors of people when they win or lose a game. “Suddenly when the team is doing so well, people look for disharmony and we (cricketers) are like how negative people can become, that you want to sell something negative or speak about something negative all the time,” Kohli added.
Kohli clearly mentioned that it doesn’t matter what people say or write on the outside. He reckons their opinions keep fluctuating depending on how the team is playing and it makes no sense to think judiciously about them. He also stated that the team is aware as to where it is heading and it is in a comfortable state right now.
