Jamaican Janieve Russell won the gold medal in the women’s 400m hurdles with Scotland’s Eilidh Doyle taking silver for the third consecutive Games. ingaporean shooter Martina Lindsay Veloso scored a Games record 621.0 to win the gold medal in the women’s 50m rifle prone final.
