Rohit S of T Nagar Chess Academy bagged the second prize while tournament’s top seed Ram S Krishnan of BSNL finished third. The top seven players will represent Chennai district in the forthcoming Tamil Nadu State Open Chess Championship in Dharmapuri.
Veteran players (Above 50 years and above 65 years) also participated in the tournament. Subramaniam V finished first in the above 50 category while Radhakrishnan V came first in above 65 category.
