This is the second consecutive draw for ICF and it will definitely be the happier of the two teams with a point in its kitty. In the day’s later match, Arrows FC continued its good run with a 3-2 win over Chennai United.

Chennai City took the lead through Higeetha in the 18th minute and went into half-time with its lead intact. ICF’s Freddy, who was awarded the man of the match, scored his team’s equaliser in the 58th minute. After conceding the equaliser, the onus was on Chennai City to go in search of a winner. But no matter how hard it tried, it couldn’t find a way past the ICF defence. Later, Arrows’ Emmanuel scored two goals, one in each half, to enable his team to record a deserving win over the struggling Chennai United FC. Suresh Babu scored the other goal for Arrows.

RESULTS: Chennai City FC 1 (Higeetha 18) drew with ICF 1 (Freddy 58); Arrows FC 3 (Emmanuel 13; 65, Suresh Babu 29) bt Chennai United FC 2 ( Subash 26, Anikebe Nnandfranis 45+1)
