Madhur beats Harshad to move up
Madhur of Q Lounge blanked Harshad of MSBA to enter the seventh round of the YMCA Madras Open Snooker Tournament on Wednesday.

Keeping his head still, and displaying a perfect cue delivery, Madhur brooked no opposition, as he strode majestically for a 3-0 victory over Harshad. In another match, Dhyan of Q Zone thrashed his club mate Madhan 3-0 to set up a meeting with Imran Ganj in the seventh-round.Â
In another exciting match, M.K.Manoj and Prashant Jalan, both from Madras Gymkhana club, lost the initial two frames to their respective opponents Riyaz (Q Lounge) and Zakir (MSBA), but came back strongly to win the next 3 frames in a row, to book their spots in Round 7.Â
Round of 64 will be played from Thursday at 9.30 am onwards, in YMCA Madras, Vepery.Â
