Resuming from its overnight score of 23 for one, Trotters ended the day at 299 for two with a handy lead of 111. Washington and Mukunth added 246 runs in 70.4 overs for the unbroken third wicket. 

Elsewhere, Vijay CC has taken control of its match against Grand Slam with left-arm spinner Rahil Shah taking four for 69 to reduce Grand Slam to 180 for six in reply to Vijay’s 370.
