Kreishh stuns Rupesh

Rupesh started the match well by winning the first frame, but Kreishh dominated the next two with good safety play to lead 2-1. Although Rupesh managed to level it 2-2, the match was drifting away from him as Kreishh won the next two frames to clinch the match 4-2 to enter the qualifying match for the group stages.

Multiple time national champion Alok Kumar of PSPB won his first match by defeating L Nagaraj of Karnataka 4-0. I H Manudev of Karnataka and Aditya Agarwal of RSPB have won both their matches comfortably and have entered the qualifying match for the group stage. Anurag Giri of Madhya Pradesh and Anuj Uppal of Delhi have been consistent throughout the tournament and has also entered the qualifying match. 

Ketan Chawla of Madhya Pradesh defeated local favourite R Loganathan out of the winning bracket, and Rakesh Vinodia of Madhya Pradesh eliminated local favourite Peter Paul out of the tournament.

From Tamil Nadu, current 6 red state champion J Varun Kumar won his first match as he blanked Sanchit Gupta 4-0. He also made a break of 51 in the match. G Prabhu and R Pranit won both their matches comfortably and entered the qualifying match for the group stage.
