Shahrukh’s ton props up TN Under-23

This is Shahrukh’s second century in three matches and it consisted of eight boundaries and five sixes. Skipper J Kousik contributed a handy 37, while K Mukunth scored 42. For the host, A Nagwaswalla picked up three wickets for 63 runs.

As a result of the northeast monsoon hitting Chennai with all its fury, the Chennai Open golf tournament originally scheduled to be held from November 7 to 11 has been postponed. 

The Guindy Golf Course, the venue for the event, is under water including the elevated greens at the moment and the forecast has been predicted for very heavy rain over the next couple of days. The Course authorities need at least five to six clear days to get the golf course into playing condition and they do not visualize this happening in the coming week. Fresh dates for the Chennai Open will be intimated at the earliest.
