Chasing 179 for a win, CSG lost two wickets in the first two overs as Sathish was run out and Gopinath was bowled by Davidson. Thalaivan and Dhas added 60 runs for the third wicket to revive CSG hopes. After Dhas (43) and Thalaivan got out, CSG could not keep itself in the race.
Earlier, Washington and Kaushik Gandhi scored at will as Tuti reached 57 for no loss at the end of the six-over powerplay. Washington kept his cool and completed his 50 off 29 balls with six fours and two sixes. The first wicket stand of 107 ended when Alexander sent back Kaushik Gandhi for 35.  Dinesh Karthik did not last long as he was deceived by Alexander’s wrong one to be bowled for a first-ball duck.  Washington hit 11 fours and four sixes in his 107.
Brief scores: Tuti Patriots 178/4 in 20 overs (Washington Sundar 107, Kaushik Gandhi 35, Alexander 2/22) bt Super Gillies 151/8 in 20 overs (Antony Dhas 43, S Karthik 39*, A Srinivas 2/30, A Davidson 2/29).
