On the first day, Bangalore and Hyderabad played a hard-fought game. Hyderabad lost 2-4 to an experienced Bangalore team.

On the second day, Chennai re-entering after more than 20 years with a novice team called Polo 2.0 (second innings) played against the young and energetic Hyderabad team. The game was off to a quick start with Chennai’s Irshad scoring the first goal within the first minute with a long straight shot. There was a synchronised team play by Chennai, constantly guided by their star player and coach Bhawani Kalvi who used his teams’ strength efficiently.

Aadil as usual was most dependable, each time neutralising the opponents with his aggressive ride offs and clearing the way for Junaid and Sameer to execute their counter strike. Col. Shakti helped Hyderabad come back by scoring two goals.
