Gandhi, Crist sizzle in Tamil Nadu win
Kaushik Gandhi’s unbeaten 107 and a five-wicket haul by speedster Aswin Crist helped Tamil Nadu beat Himachal Pradesh by eight wickets in the Vijay Hazare Trophy at the Barabati Stadium on Tuesday. This was Tamil Nadu’s third win in as many matches.

Put into bat, Himachal suffered an early jolt when openers and in-form batsmen Ankush Bains (7) and Prashant Chopra (13) fell within 27 runs and the team never recovered from the blows to be bowled out for 216.
Chasing, B Aparajith and Gandhi added 107 runs for the second wicket to guide Tamil Nadu to the finish line. Aparajith’s 62 off 65 balls was studded with five fours and a six. It was then veteran Dinesh Karthik and Gandhi’s turn to guide TN home.
