Velammal International School won the CBSE cluster VI football tournament for under-19 boys category organised by Lalaji Memorial Omega international school.

Students from 80 schools from Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry and Andaman and Nicobar Islands participated in the tournament. The event was held in four different venues. St Johns International Residential School finished runners-up.Â
JIT sports meet
Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, Sriperumpudur will conduct its second annual inter-school tournament for Jeppiaar trophy at their premises from October 17 to 22. Competition will be held in basketball (boys and girls), chess (boys and girls on Oct 22), table tennis (boys on Oct 20 and 21).Â
