The franchise, which has roped Robin Singh as its coach, is a side with a lot of new faces and according to Badrinath, it has the right mixture of youth and experience. “We had our first get together on Thursday and I get positive vibes in the team. We are a new-look team with a lot of U-19 players and the mood in the camp is upbeat,” the 35-year-old batsman said. With a youthful side, Badrinath said the pressure of expectations is absent. “We do not have big names. We start as the underdogs and it would be a tremendous achievement if we do well. I am looking forward to working with Robin Singh, a cricketer who has been my role model, and the U-19 players and we hope for the camaraderie to set-in quick,” he added.
