But according to reports, the Saurashtra all-rounder broke rules by getting off a safari jeep at Gir and clicking selfies of himself with a pride of lions in the background. These photos have caught the eye of forest officials who say the Indian cricketer broke rules by getting off the safari jeep in the presence of forest guards. A probe has been ordered.
Jadeja is on a break from international assignments after a hectic season that included two gruelling months of the Indian Premier League. The left-arm spinning all rounder has been rested from the limited over series currently under way in Zimbabwe. He was spending some quality time with his wife post his recent wedding.
