Romania scrum-half Surugiu marries his fiancée

And just over four months after popping the question, the 31-year-old CSM Bucuresti player was pictured smiling on his wedding day on Wednesday. Last autumn Surugiu came off the bench to feature in the Pool D encounter against Ireland which recorded a whopping attendance of 89,267. And afterwards, with thousands still inside the stadium, and his team-mates gathered behind him, Surugiu brought Alexandria out onto the turf, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. 

As she accepted, the rest of the Romania squad broke into a round of applause and the remainder of the crowd cheered the scene which had unexpectedly unfolded before them.
