Women play a central role this week and it is mostly about a happy home environment. It is about keeping families, loved ones and friends together in a space that is conducive to well-being. You could say that there are always blessings even in times of duress. The Four of Wands and the Queen of Pentacles sees a lot of goodwill and togetherness when it comes to personal life. It could be celebrations gatherings that bring extended families together and while there will be expenses also at this time it is for the larger good. Women under this sign will have a leadership role to play when it comes to making decisions in the family. It’s not often that such coming together happens. Make the best of it.

20 April – 21 May

The Empress card indicates that good news is on the way and it is also a time for things to show up as sprouts show up after the first monsoon. It means that after a long spell of dry sparse things are going to move forward. And when they do, they will with such force that you will be required to adapt quickly to the changes they bring. Changes are not easy to handle no matter how good things are portended. The Queen of Wands shows that while the jigsaw puzzle pieces are falling into place there will also be the element of discomfort and you need to be in control of your emotions and be dispassionate and steady. There are chances of celebratory occasions like weddings and new additions to the family.

It seems to be that the week ahead is full of good things. If you imagine a near-perfect world, then this time could be one of them. It will cover most areas of your life — work, relationships, future goals and visions and also the excitement of looking for challenging things to achieve in the future. The Wheel of Fortune is a great card to get but also remember this works on the principle of what goes around comes around. So if good things have come then it is because of the good you have done. You would much rather be planning your future than engaging in current battles. However, your present is tied up with the future and it is better to get that done now. But for now, with the Page of Swords, it is about being clear and being ready to fight all the battles you have lined up. There will also be someone younger, vigorous who will help you through all this.

The inner knowledge you possess is because you are protected by a Higher Power that is feminine and all-encompassing. This will also ensure that you will stay and face what comes your way instead of trying to run away and being without care. Too much rests on your shoulders and that is also why the high priestess appears to show that you are a responsible and wise person who knows that doing right is more important than being comfortable. The Fool that also appears is what the inner child in you is longing for. To put on those travelling shoes and walk into a world that has nothing to do with your current one. This is not the time for that because that kind of action can also land you in trouble. 

23 September – 23 October

Sometimes you get blindsided by the challenges of life. But it is these very challenges that make you a strong and vibrant personality that you are. And with your quick thinking, you are able to demolish any opposition that you might face professionally and personally. The Four of Wands brings this aspect forward as you are ready to fight with clear thinking and a razor-sharp tongue. And that brings you to the point where you win the war. The King of Wands will ensure that you will rule with an iron hand and also be aware that you are the driving force behind all successful ventures. So if you are heading a company or an organisation, this is the time you put your foot down and to make people follow your lead. And you will do this very well considering you are supported by the higher forces in life and whatever you envision for your organisation will be ambitious and awe-inspiring.
