Life’s lessons: Don’t fight your own reflections
Once a dog ran into a museum filled with mirrors. The museum was very unique – the walls, the ceiling, the doors and even the floors of the mueseum were made of mirrors.
Chennai
Seeing his reflections in the mirrors, the dog froze in surprise in the middle of the hall. It could see an entire pack of other dogs surrounding him from all sides.
The dog barked and all the reflections responded to it in the same way. Frightened, the dog went on barking frantically and its reflections imitated it. The dog barked even louder and the echo magnified further. The dog tossed from one side to another while his reflections also tossed around snapping their teeth.
Next morning, the museum’s security guards found the miserable dog lifeless in the hall of the museum, surrounded by thousands of reflections of lifeless dogs. There was nobody to hurt the dog. It died while fighting his own reflections.
Moral: Everything that happens around us is the reflection of our own thoughts, feelings, wishes and actions. The world is a big mirror. So, strike a good pose!
