Peace: The elementary need of human existence
We alone have created scientific activity to facilitate human existence.

Human being’s success in technology is achieved primarily in two areas, in attaining comfort and in accomplishing things faster. These two aspects have become the main parameters of progress in technology.
Apart from human being’s ability to love, caring, sharing etc. in the entire creation humans alone involve in scientific activity. We cannot live without scientific gadgets anymore. We alone have created scientific activity to facilitate human existence. We have gadgets that can measure heartbeat, number of steps taken, cholesterol etc..
1.But this entire approach of predicting the future through astrology or scientific approach is wrong. It leads one to disaster. For human existence the elementary need is health and peace. Peace is entirely different from health. Peace is more important and of higher priority than health. Without peace existing health cannot be maintained nor enjoyed.
2. I will explain this in a simple way. A healthy animal is a healthy animal, it has no psychological problem. All the tests done in the medical field on animals are only for reactions occurring in the animal’s body because of the injection of chemicals. Anything more has never been done and can never be done. No psychological tests have been performed on animals in any era of medical history because unlike humans, animals are neither committed to anything nor are they emotional. Neither do they have any financial pressure.
E.g. there cannot be a test for a tiger saying, ‘your son is suffering from cancer’, or ‘this is your financial commitment’. But this is a reality 99% of the time for human world. Approaching human life and health only with studies on animals isn’t a mistake, but a limitation of the medical world. They cannot go beyond this. Irrespective of the number of medicines created, tests can only find physical changes occurred in animals; and after series of approvals those medicines are then considered fit for human body.
3.This reality is an eye-opener that any medicine is only with respect to 1% of health which is physical. The remaining 99% is determined by one’s state of mind. And the solution to this 99% isn’t outside of you, it is inside you. This I call peace.
What is peace? It isn’t a problem-free or always-under-one’s-control situation. No. It is you knowing that irrespective of the situation you face with people or events, you know you can handle them and change that happens is only positive. This ability of the mind to have certainty of the future despite the disturbances in the present is called peace. When the mind is at peace one can fix problems and face disturbance more easily and effortlessly.
4. What happens when we fail to address this state of mind or state of consciousness? Humans receive life-energy for the physical body from nature; from food, water etc.. There is also an emotional energy which is released from the mind. In realty the way health works is: Any disturbance in the mind creates disharmony within the body and the life-energy. And this disharmony in the body and life-energy creates disfunction in the mind and body. Similarly, a disturbance in the physical body again creates disharmony in the mind. The untold secret is, when one is in a state of peace, disturbances in the physical body can never create disharmony in the mind.
In what the medical world calls psychosomatic disorders; the cause isn’t in the body it’s in the mind. But one cannot keep going back to the cause that has created weakness in the mind. That will never happen despite a person reading Vedas, Law of Attraction books, positive psychology etc. because one can never create a world without a problem, but one can live a life without a problem.
5 Instead of finding the cause that made you weak, raise the strength of the mind to never be disturbed by events and people you are going to deal with. Now no matter what, you will enjoy every moment knowing that whatever happens, happens for the right reason and the way you want it in your life.
Peace isn’t the end-result but a resource one needs to possess every single moment. To exist in peace, one must consider three aspects of the mind. First: Free yourself of unwanted negative reference of the past that disturb you in the present, not allowing you grow. Second: Free yourself of anxiety of the future. Dream of the future, but when your projection of the future isn’t positive, there is anxiety and stress in the present. Third: To make sure that the first two happen in the mind, ground yourself in the present moment through meditation. Because energy received through meditation isn’t information heard or studied nor advice from someone, it is one’s personal experience that can only be experienced, never explained. It gives strength to free oneself of negative references of the past and anxiety of the future. What remains then is a beautiful space in the present to grow in every aspect of life; full of peace, success and happiness.
