Life's Lessons: Judging a person defines who you are
Sheela was catching a plane to another city.
At the airport, she purchased some cookies, bought a book and sat down to wait for her flight to be called. She opened her book and then reached for a cookie that was in the seat next to her. A man sitting on the other side of the cookies also reached for one, much to her shock.
As she read and ate the cookies, she realised the man was also dipping into her cookies. ‘What a shameless thief,” she thought and looked at him. By then they were down to the last cookie. The man looked at it, looked at her, broke it into half and gave her one piece. “What a dreadful ingrate,” she thought. Just then her flight was called and she boarded and took her seat. When she opened her handbag to take out her vanity kit, she was shocked to find her bag of cookies, intact. “Oh my god, I ate that man’s cookies and called him a thief,” she said to herself.
Moral: Judge less, Observe and appreciate others more
