Desire for divine should rule you
We humans are the only beings on this planet to whom progress, growth, success, happiness, motivation, inspiration etc. apply. These are words associated with human beings alone. For every other living, being none of this matters.

Chennai
As humans, we are gifted to enjoy every creation of nature along with our own creations for our comfort, pleasure and success. We alone are gifted with the ability to be, do and have all we want. Still, we are the only living beings with the ability to kill ourselves or end the lives we have been gifted with. We call this suicide.
Before I explain the reason for suicide, let me share with you one fact. Research carried out in the medical field on human psychology shows that there are two categories of human beings who never commit suicide; one who is mentally challenged and the other, a person yet to attain puberty. In both these cases, ending one’s own life is never a possibility.
It is also a fact that no other living being, except humans ever commit suicide or would ever want to commit suicide. Why does this happen? How is it then that we call ourselves the supreme creation of the Divine? The reason at the core is ‘desire’.
Animals do not possess desire, and hence they do not seek knowledge to satisfy or achieve that desire. However, we humans live out of desire. When one knows they have the ability to satisfy their desire, they need no motivation or inspiration. It is only when the mind thinks there is a possibility of not achieving its desire as an experience that motivation, inspiration, focus etc. are needed. And only then is there the possibility of feeling demotivated or uninspired. No animal needs to be motivated or inspired to live its life. But we humans do, because we lack the experience of the Divine that has created everything and only gain more and more knowledge as information even about the Divine or God.
Information and experience are different. Experience can never be informed and information is an experience that is waiting to be experienced. Experience is always beyond information. God in reality can never be information; God can only be experienced. To experience God; one must leave behind information about God.
God or the Divine power is an experience or the expression of the self in which realisation flowers, knowing that ‘I am not part of this universe, I am the entire universe’.
Wishing you a life of peace and happiness. Aham Brahmasmi!!
