The brothers stopped talking to each other, and a wandering carpenter came seeking a job at Hari’s house. The elder brother immediately asked him to build a huge barrier between the two farms. “I don’t want to see his house from here,” he said. After the carpenter agreed to do the job, Hari went away from the farm, thereby avoiding any chance meeting with his brother.

When he returned, he was surprised to find a beautiful bridge spanning the two farms and his younger brother standing around with a huge grin. “I was so mean to you, but you built a bridge between our farms. I am lucky to have such a wonderful brother,” he said, hugging him. Hari broke into a smile.

Moral: There is no shame in accepting your mistake or forgiving each other. We should be kind and humble. We should try to stay together as a family and not break away from it over the petty arguments.
