In harmony with nature
Global peace is the goal of every human organization to achieve existential positive change to present life and for the future. But how is peace truly achieved?
We, as humans are closely integrated with nature, society, family and the self. I shall explain how each of these aspects are related to peace; both global and individual.
Nature’s support is critical for a peaceful existence but we have little control over nature and nature will not change as per man’s wish. What we can do is change ourselves to enjoy nature. However, even when nature is perfect, serene and pollution-free, if there is disquiet in society or communal unrest one cannot experience peace.
When nature and society are both perfect with no pollution or no corruption and unrest still, if there is conflict prevalent in the family, one cannot enjoy peace. And finally, even with peace in the family, if one is not at peace with the self; and is worried about the past or anxious about the future there can be no real happiness.
The tranquil mountains of a hill station, the beautiful banks of a river or the most peaceful country on earth can only be a source of temporary pleasure but cannot help one achieve inner peace.
You carry your state of peace or conflict with you. Unless you are at peace with yourself, family, society and nature can have no impact for your peaceful existence. And similarly, if one is at peace with oneself then he is a source of happiness and peace when there is conflict in the family; resolving problems rather than feeling helpless by them. And when there is happiness in the family one can be a resource for the society and the country.
When an individual is happy with himself, the family and the society it is nature’s nature to bless him with peace and abundance. It is both a scientific and spiritual understanding that peace is the ultimate and fundamental need for an individual to prosper and progress in every aspect of life. And one achieves peace through knowledge of the self and the power of the self. With knowledge of the self even an ordinary man can live an extraordinary life effortlessly. Without knowledge of the self, even with extraordinary knowledge one will end up living not even an ordinary life.
Being aware of the self is the only way to experience peace. Wishing you a life full of peace, health and happiness. Aham Brahmasmi!!
