Mind, Body and Soul: Nature is the true source of happiness
Success and happiness — two words most commonly used by humans even more than the word ‘God’. Knowingly or unknowingly we’re all running after either of them. In reality based on one’s current plight, success and happiness vary from person to person.
It could be looking forward to a job change or a marriage in the family or waiting for a child to be born or college admission. The point is, happiness is on hold because of the wait for a successful outcome or change, one wants in life.
One can never be happy if he or she is waiting to be successful to be happy. Success is not the source of happiness; happiness is the seed for success. Knowing this truth, wait no more to gift yourself the feeling of happiness through simple but profound things.
Ask yourself, when was the last time you sang back to a singing cuckoo or when was the last time you looked up and felt one with the blue sky and the silver clouds? When was the last time you went to the seashore and watched the sky touch the sea and enjoyed the waves kiss your feet? When was the last time you saw the sun and moon together just before dusk? When was the last time you were excited watching a squirrel fearlessly play amongst the treetops? If your answer to all the above is no, then know that you are presently depressed. Instead of relying on medicines that have side effects, try to be in touch with nature which is absolutely free of cost but still worth a billion, in fact more. Realise that nature is always available, perfectly sharing and supporting you, if need be.
When you take time to connect with nature you wouldn’t know what’s going to change or how but something has to change for good and great reasons. It’s the unfailing divine law of nature and the discipline that can easily bring humanity out of depression or chances are, the future will define humanity as a well-dressed but depressed community.
It’s my humble request, don’t just read this, personally do try and connect with nature to know it and feel it. Connecting with nature is the easiest and fastest way to gain inexplicable, unfathomable strength from the universe to achieve the success and happiness you want in every aspect of life. Because God guides you all the time only through nature. So take a conscious effort to tell yourself that “I, being connected with nature, will help me forget mistakes of the past, problems of the present and fears about the future”.
Wishing you all inevitable peace, success and happiness.
