A video has been shared with the claim that a Dalit man was fed water from a shoe by men from an upper caste. Alt News found a June report that said this incident was from Sumerpur in Pali, Rajasthan. The
youth was kidnapped and brought to Suparna village, Sirohi. He was accused of being involved with a married woman there. And the punishment was meted out to him, after which those accused in the incident were arrested. There is no caste angle to the incident.
