Tiruchy govt doctor held for abusing minors at school managed by his mother
It is said that Samson (33), a doctor working at the Lalgudi PHC used to visit a government-aided primary school at Mela Pudur in Tiruchy where his mother Grace Sahaya Rani has been working as the headmistress.
TIRUCHY: A government doctor from Tiruchy was arrested under the Pocso Act on Tuesday for sexually abusing minor girls from the school in which his mother was working as a headmistress.
It is said that Samson (33), a doctor working at the Lalgudi PHC used to visit a government-aided primary school at Mela Pudur in Tiruchy where his mother Grace Sahaya Rani has been working as the headmistress.
Samson used to visit the girls hostel in the name of treatment and was in the habit of sexually abusing the little girls.
He has been harassing the girls for the past six months.
Meanwhile, some unidentified person had complained on the 1098 helpline.
Based on the complaint, the Social Welfare Officer Vijayalakshmi lodged another complaint with the Fort All Women Police.
The police registered a case under various IPC sections and the Pocso Act against Doctor Samson.
On Tuesday, the police arrested Samson who was later produced before the court and lodging him in the prison.
