Rescue efforts continued on Saturday to save the two-year-old Sujith Wilson who fell into a 30-ft abandoned borewell in a village on Friday in Tamil Nadu's Tiruchirappalli district.
As rescue operations went on, later at night, the child went further down to tube and got stuck at about 70-ft in a 610-ft borewell.
Sujith Wilson’s father, who is a daily wage worker said, “My son fell into the borewell on Friday evening when he was playing outside our house. Please save my son. I also have an elder son. Collector has come here, I want my son to be saved no matter what.”
