According to a Raj Nivas release, more than 150 tree saplings were planted around the compound wall in coordination with Department Officers and NGOs. The Lt Governor directed the officials to plant various trees and ornamental plants. The forest conservator was also directed to co-opt for developing green landscape in the area. On Saturday, too, she visited the place. Later,she also visited the Arasamkulam at G N Palayam and sort out issues of encroachment and raising boundary fence.
