Sivakasi Nadar trounced Bentic HSS and Jessie Moses HSS, both in straight games. Chennai GHSS (Rotler) also had a great day, notching up a couple of triumphs. It emerged victorious against Guntur Subbiah (T Nagar) and Velammal HSS (Mogappair). In the boys section, five of the six matches finished in two sets. In the other, Bentic and Jessie Moses battled hard, with the forming beating the latter.
