PBL 2017 is scheduled for a January 1 start next year. It will be a 15-day league taking place across state-of-theart stadiums in India, including Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi and Lucknow. Chennai Smashers have retained the husband-wife duo of Chris Adcock and Gabby Adcock (both for Rs 26 lakh), while former Commonwealth Games men’s singles medallist Parupalli Kashyap finds himself in the squad (at Rs. 8 lakh). The surprise pick for Chennai was the state’s reigning champion Ramya Tulasi.
