For the first time, non-footballers made the top 5 of the highest earning athletes on Twitter, as US great basketball player and 3 times NBA winner Lebron James took the 4th position with earning $ 470,356 (over Rs. 3.37 crore) per tweet. This makes him the highest earning US sportsperson on Twitter. On the 5th position came Indianskipper Virat Kohli. He earns $ 350,101(over Rs. 2.5 crore) per tweet he posts for his corporate partners.
