Chennai Super Kings’s Willey pulls out of IPL 2019

Chennai Super Kings’ David Willey has opted out of Indian Premier League 2019 because of the late birth of his second child.

The English all-rounder had initially announced that he will arrive late for the eight-team competition. He came into the CSK squad last year, as a replacement for Indian international Kedar Jadhav. With pacer Lungi Ngidi already out of the entirety of the competition, Willey’s decision comes as a major blow for the MS Dhoni-led side.
