He gave the direction at a review meeting of Tangedco held at its headquarters here in the presence of its top officials, including chairman Vikram Kapoor.
The minister’s review has come at a time when the city residents were complaining about frequent power cuts and voltage fluctuations at night. The residents also complained about the indifferent attitude of officials at local Tangedco offices when they call.
At the review meeting, the minister directed all the officials to be alert and attend to the complaints of the consumers during the summer season. “During power cuts, the officials should act swiftly to provide power supply as soon as possible,” he said while taking stock of the management of the power distribution infrastructure and maintenance.
