Amar Jawan Jyoti merged with eternal flame at National War Memorial around 3.30pm in New Delhi. The eternal flame for soldiers at India Gate was put out today after 50 years in a military parade to the memorial, where it will be merged with a torch. Soldiers marched with the eternal flame for 400 metres to merge the flame.
