'Maha' meet commences
This meeting, if goes successfully, the disparate trio will come together to form the government by staking its claim for power today evening.
Mumbai
After the turmoil that followed the Maharashtra poll finally looks like coming to an end with the Congress, Shiv Sena and NCP meeting.
The power impasse that was caused due to tussle between the Hindutva 'partners' Shiv Sena and BJP, ensued a lot of speculations about who reign supreme. There were rumours of many combinations speculated by media, like even the BJP-NCP alliance. But now it very much seems the 'Marathi' party will stake claim of the government with the support of NCP and Congress.
NCP and Congress though far from the Sena ideology, but are bent-on to keep BJP out of power.
From the Sena Udhhav Thackeray, Aditya Thackeray and Sanjay Raut will be attending the meet. The Congress trio includes Venugopal, Ahmed Patel and Mallikarjuna Kharge and the NCP is represented by Praful Patel, Sharad Pawar and Patil.
This meeting, if goes successfully, the disparate trio will come together to form the government by staking its claim for power today evening.
However, the BJP is skeptical about this alliance as it feels this alliance is unlikely to finish its five years tenure given the differing ideologies.
If the common minimum programme manages to convince all the three parties then it is a celebration at Matoshree as Uddhav Thackeray will be the CM of Maharashtra.
