Chidambaram discharged from AIIMS following gastrointestinal treatment
Former finance minister and senior Congress leader P Chidambaram, who is currently in the custody of Enforcement Directorate in the INX Media case, was taken to AIIMS on Monday after he complained of stomach ache and other related issues.

Sources said Chidambaram was taken to the RML Hospital in the morning but has now been shifted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences here.
Chidambaram complained of illness and pain in the stomach, the sources added.
Sources at AIIMS said, the former union minister was brought to the hospital around 5.40 PM and is being examined by a team of doctors in the old private ward.
While those close to Chidambaram said "his condition is not good", ED sources claimed "there was nothing serious".
UPDATE: P Chidambaram was treated for gastrointestinal health complications and discharged later. His condition is stable now, news agency ANI reported.
Chidambaram is currently undergoing ED custody till October 30 after he was arrested under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act on October 16.
The Central Bureau of Investigation had arrested the former minister on August 21 in INX media corruption case. However, he succeeded in getting bail from the Supreme Court on October 22.
Chidambaram is being probed for his alleged involvement in irregularities in granting Foreign Investment Promotion Board (FIPB) approval to INX Media during his term as Finance Minister.
