Jagan Mohan Reddy to take oath as Andhra Pradesh CM on May 30: Senior party leader
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will take oath as the new Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on May 30 in the temple town of Tirupati, a YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leader said on Thursday.
YSRCP was heading for a landslide victory as it was leading on 152 seats in the 175-member Assembly.

Senior party leader Umareddy Venkateshwarlu told reporters that the newly elected YSRCP legislators will meet on Saturday to elect Jagan Mohan Reddy as their leader.
With YSR Congress Party heading for a landslide win to wrest power in Andhra Pradesh, party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Thursday described it as people's victory.
"It is the victory of people of Andhra Pradesh," Jagan said in his post on Facebook.

Jagan thanked the people for blessing the YSRCP with their support and votes and said he would try to live up to the people's expectations.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy on the "remarkable" win in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly polls.
"Congratulations on the remarkable win in Andhra Pradesh. Best wishes to you for a successful tenure," Modi said.

The YSRCP also appeared making a clean sweep in Lok Sabha polls as the party was leading in all 25 seats.
