ISRO to launch radar imaging satellite on May 22
India will launch RISAT-2B, a radar imaging earth observation satellite, using Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle-Core Alone (PSLV-CA) variant, on May 22, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) said on Saturday.

According to the space agency, the PSLV rocket will blast off from the first launch pad carrying RISAT-2B at 5.27 a.m. on May 22, subject to weather conditions.
Like the previous launch events, the ISRO has made provisions for public to view the launch from recently opened Viewer's Gallery at the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota, in Andhra Pradesh.
Online registration for the Viewer's Gallery will start five days before the launch.
