L-G writes open letter to residents
A day after the High Court judgment clipped the powers of Lt Governor, in an open letter to Puducherrians, Lt Governor Kiran Bedi said it does not matter who does and how much.

Listing out the initiatives or her ‘interference’ for the betterment of Puducherry in the last nearly three years, on Wednesday she said these practices and more if sustained will keep Puducherry a favoured destination for all round prosperity.
Key is that we do and the needs are met. Ideally all works together to give people holistic good administration, she added.
The Lt Governor also said that people have to be served and their needs cannot wait. She also wished all the best to Puducherrians.
Meanwhile, AIADMK legislature party leader A Anbazhagan welcomed the verdict of the Madras High Court.
