‘Traders to vote for party which accepts their demands’
The Confederation of All India Traders Association would vote for the political party which would accept their charter of demands in the upcoming Lok Sabha election.

Addressing a press conference after a session of the administrative committee meeting of the confederation here on Wednesday, Confederation Secretary General Praveen Khandelwal said that over 200 leaders from 26 states in the country had a serious discussion on the strategy to be adopted in the Lok Sabha election and unanimously decided that the trading community would vote only to the party which accept their charter of demands.
He said that it is a congregation of more than 30,000 traders federations in the country representing more than seven crore traders who give employment to more than 30 crore people.
Domestic trade is the second largest job provider in the country next to agriculture, he added. M Khandelwal said that all these 37 crore traders and their employees will vote in one voice to the party which accept their demands. They will be preparing a charter of demands on Thursday, which will be forwarded to all political parties, he added.
