    Mamata calls off Dharna on Day 3, says victory of 'Constitution and Democracy'

    On Day 3 of Mamata’s Dharna, the Supreme Court asked Rajeev Kumar to appear at a ‘neutral’ venue to be questioned by CBI, a move that led both TMC and Centre hailed as a victory. The West Bengal CM called off her dharna in the evening calling it a victory of 'Constitution and democracy'.

    "This dharna (Save the Constitution) is victory for the Constitution and democracy, so, let us end it today," said West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata.

    The Court gave a positive judgement today. Next week, we will continue to take up the issue in Delhi, Mamata added.
