India condemns terror attack on Chinese consulate in Karachi
Two policemen were killed on Friday, as unidentified people attacked the Chinese consulate in Pakistan's Karachi.

India on Friday strongly condemned the terror attack on the Chinese Consulate in Karachi and said the perpetrators of the heinous attack should be brought to justice expeditiously.
"India strongly condemns the terrorist attack on the Chinese Consulate in Karachi this morning. We condole the loss of lives in this dastardly attack," an MEA statement said.
"We condole the loss of lives in this dastardly attack. There can be no justification whatsoever for any act of terrorism," it said.

"The perpetrators of this heinous attack should be brought to justice expeditiously," the statement said, adding that such terrorist attacks only strengthen the resolve of the international community to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

Citing eyewitnesses and police, media reports said that a group of attackers opened fire and hurled a hand grenade near the Chinese consulate.
