Corruption at Centre: Congress to take out rally
In a bid to expose the alleged corruption in the Modi government at the Centre, the Puducherry Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) would organise a procession and demonstration here on Saturday, PCC president and PWD minister A Namasivayam said on Thursday.

In a release, Namasivayam said the procession which would commence at the Venkatasubbareddiyar statue junction and would culminate at the office of the Collector where a demonstration would be held.
Mukul Wasnik, AICC in charge for Puducherry, will take part in the procession as a special invitee, Namasivayam said and called upon all sections of the Congress functionaries and cadre to take part in the agitation.
Namsivayam said the Modi government had in its four-and-a-half-year rule ignored all promises made to the public and deliberately spoilt the livelihood of the poor and middle class people.Â
Alleging a Rs 41,000 crore corruption in the purchase of Rafale fighter aircraft from France, Namasivayam said the BJP is dreaming of coming back to power by making false promises and lies.
