Eight booked for rape of minor from Puducherry

According to the police, a 16-year-old girl from Reddiyarpalayam developed a relationship with Vikki (20) of Vazhudavur. He invited her to his house and lured her to have sex with him. He also videotaped it on his mobile phone. Later, he continued to have sex with the girl threatening to upload it on internet. Vikki then invited her to a palm grove at Thirukkanur where his friends Kannadasan, Mukhilan, and five others were waiting. Vikki, Mukhilan and Kannadasan sexually assaulted her and when she started bleeding, they got frightened and ran away and the girl came back home. 

As the bleeding continued, her mother took her to the Indira Gandhi Women and Child Hospital, where doctors informed her mother that she was subjected to sexual assault. The CWC authorities held a discussion with the girl when she narrated the incident. Following this, the CWC asked the Thirukkanur police to initiate action against the eight.
